These shoots don’t need perfect houses or no mess. Life is cluttered and wonderful and worth remembering as is.
Family shoots are not just for young families. Teens, grandparents, found family; there is so much worth capturing beyond the early years.
Make some coffee, hang out in the living room or play in the park. Like most of my work, these sessions are not massively posed. I will give gentle direction but mostly work with your natural flow. I have always worked with kids and know how to get a bit silly to bring out some genuine smiles.
